A little bit about why I made these...

I'll be completely honest β€” I neeeeeed a checklist these days. πŸ˜‚

There is something about actually seeing things written down that makes life feel just a little more manageable. And I'm a huge fan of a planner too.

I find that if I can visualise what I'm working towards, break it down into something achievable and then actually see my progress, I'm far more likely to stick with it. There's something very satisfying about ticking a box, crossing something off a list or looking back and realising just how far you've come.

And that got me thinking...

Why shouldn't we have the same sort of thing for our horses and riding?

I've put together these free guides and downloads because sometimes a little bit of structure is all we need. Whether it's keeping track of goals, planning your riding, making sure those important seasonal jobs don't get forgotten, or simply having something useful to refer back to, I wanted to create resources that are practical, easy to use and actually worth printing out.

And then there's the warm-up guides...

Because let's be honest, these days my own aching body needs ALL the help it can get before I climb on! πŸ˜‚

I know I'm not the only rider who sometimes thinks β€œI'll just get on and warm up as I go…” β€” only to remember approximately three strides later that perhaps that wasn't the greatest plan. 🀣

A few simple stretches and movements before riding can make me feel so much more prepared, and I wanted to put together something that makes that little bit of preparation easier to remember β€” for both rider and horse.

So these guides are really the result of me creating the things I would actually use myself.

And I'm not finished yet...

I've got plenty more ideas bubbling away, so bookmark this page and keep checking back. There'll be more free resources appearing as I get them finished.

And I've got a little idea brewing around the warm-up routine too... πŸ‘€

Let's just say I may be planning a slightly silly, light-hearted little competition involving it. πŸ˜‚

I'm not saying anything more just yet...

You'll have to stay tuned! 🐴❀️
